Speeding stop on a Nevada highway turns up roughly 700 pounds of suspected meth and fentanyl
A Lincoln County sheriff's deputy stopped a pickup near Ash Springs on October 13 and found about 307 kg of suspected methamphetamine plus roughly 14 kg of suspected fentanyl. The 26-year-old driver, Francisco Joel Garcia Farias, faces two federal possession-with-intent counts, each carrying a 10-year mandatory minimum; the allegations are unproven and the weights come from field testing.
