Florida's Washington County calls a 16-month investigation its largest meth case ever, charges 15
Sheriff Kevin Crews said "Operation King of the Hill" — a joint investigation by his office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the DEA and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation that ran from March 2025 to June 2026 — has produced felony charges against 15 people accused of moving methamphetamine from North Georgia into the rural Florida Panhandle county, which he called the largest meth investigation in the county's history. Investigators traced local distribution to Wendy Holloway and Issac Noss, who were stopped by Florida Highway Patrol on June 8, 2026 with about 3 pounds of methamphetamine after a supply run to Georgia, and from there to alleged North Georgia suppliers Tekoa Ross and Edgar Soto; the sheriff's office estimated the ring moved 50 to 70 pounds of methamphetamine into the county over the life of the case.
