Operation Skid Row: 23 of 28 charged defendants arrested in a federal sweep of Los Angeles street-level fentanyl and meth dealing
The FBI, DEA, LAPD and IRS Criminal Investigation served warrants across Los Angeles County after charging 28 people with distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine. Prosecutors say some sellers posed as homeless residents or social workers and sold from tents; no drug weights were reported. First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli called it "just the beginning."
